Delete your PlateBook account

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account, then type DELETE. That’s it: every device is signed out at once and your account disappears from PlateBook. Your entries, photos, follows and messages are permanently erased within 7 days. Signing back in during those 7 days cancels the deletion.

Without the app: email privacy@platebookapp.com from the address on your account and we’ll do it for you within 7 days.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

• An entry: open it and tap Delete entry. Its review, notes and photos are permanently erased within 7 days.
• A photo: open the entry, tap Edit and remove the photo. It is erased at once.
• Your profile photo, name, handle and bio: change or remove them under Profile → Edit profile.
• A share link: open the entry and tap Remove public link. The link stops working at once.
• Want to try items and suggestions: remove them from your Want to try list or your suggestions.

To have anything else removed, email privacy@platebookapp.com and we’ll do it within 7 days.

Dish names and prices you added to a restaurant’s shared menu stay, with no link to you. Server access logs are kept for one year for security and contain no diary content.
